Breathing Meditations

BreathWhat would happen if I breathe with the feeling that I’m being breathed by the universe?

Sometimes in meditation, the breath becomes very slow or seems to stop altogether. It only seems to stop, of course, because as long as we are alive, the breath never really stops. It is just that in yogic states the breath doesn’t come in and out of the nostrils, but actually moves within the sushumna nadi, the subtle channel at the very centre of the body.

There is nothing to be afraid of when the breath feels like it has stopped. You are actually being sustained from a deeper level of your being, by the prana-Shakti herself.
